Ochman Dembele: Leaving Barcelona for PSG was the right decision
Ochman Dembele says his career has progressed by ditching Barcelona for PSG. Since joining PSG, he has scored 33 goals and won numerous awards.
Ochman Tempel says his decision to leave Barcelona to join Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) was the right one. He joined PSG from Barcelona in August 2017, but has been plagued by serious injuries and has shown his potential since joining PSG.
Since joining PSG, Dembele has won 12 major league titles, including three Ligue 1 titles and two Champions League titles. In the 2024–25 season, he scored 33 goals and provided 13 assists, earning him the Ballon d'Or.
"Was it the best decision for my career? Yes, it was definitely the right decision for me," said Temple. "Even though I am very close to Barcelona, it was important for me to go to PSG. Luis Enrique called me, he spoke to me, and his welcome was the most important thing for me to come to PSG," he said.
Dembele added, "Even though my early days were tough with injuries, I've been developing my skills at PSG. I'm training better with the help of Enrique and his coaching staff."
