Dani van den Heuvel, a 23-year-old goalkeeper, currently plies his trade in Belgium. He has joined OH Leuven from Club Brugge, where he has signed a contract until 2029.

Van den Heuvel joined the club in the summer of 2024 after playing in the youth ranks of ADO den Haag, Ajax and Leeds United. Last season, he played his first game in the first team after an injury to Club Brugge captain Simon Mignolet.

At Club Brugge, he made 14 appearances as goalkeeper, once in the Champions League, against eventual winners Arsenal. However, he did not get a new contract at Club Brugge. Jubiler immediately joined Leuven, who finished 12th in the Pro League, when he got his chance.

'When the opportunity arose to bring Danny to OH Leuven, our team officials acted quickly. At first contact he was in the best field. Dani is a young, aspiring goalkeeper and has proven his potential to develop,' sporting director Giorgi Szebreki told the club's website.

Van den Heuvel described his move to Leuven as the right step to advance his carrera (playing career). 'I want to show that I can be a consistent player in a team. I am very happy to sign here.'
