In an interview with Tuttosport published today, Algeria national team coach Luca Chidan shared his experience of fitting into the team with ease. "I have integrated into the group very well and it has gone smoothly. We have a wonderful group that naturally embraces newcomers. That unity will help us in the World Cup as well," he said.

Cautious about the goals, Sidan said, "One step forward. First focus on Argentina. Then we will see how the journey continues. We are all competitive; we want to take Algeria as high as possible."

He played in the pre-World Cup friendlies at the Allianz Stadium in Turin. On his experience playing there, "It's really a joy to play for a big club like Juventus. Juventus is history; it has a pride in European football. I'm proud that my father (Zinedine Zidane) played there. I grew up hearing about it from a young age," recalled Sidhan.

"I've been to that stadium before with Real Madrid, but I didn't play then. I've been waiting for this moment for a long time. But now my eyes are on Argentina — our long-awaited opener," he added.

Sidon emphasized that there is good unity and self-confidence in Algeria's camp. At the World Cup 2026 stage, he is confident that unity will be the bedrock of the team's progress.
