Scotland, defeat against Morocco in the middle of the World Cup hopes!

Scotland conceded 70 seconds into their World Cup match against Morocco, but they still have a chance to clinch a historic knockout berth. "The football gods will bless us," asked coach Steve Clarke, knowing a point would ensure they progressed through the group. Scotland, however, made little start. Poor defending allowed Ismail to run easily past Saibari, who scored on 71 seconds. This, however, belies the joy of the Tartan Army, who return to Boston Stadium with confidence. Morocco were level with Brazil, outclassed by all sides, but they didn't destroy Scotland. Clarke's men had a chance to equalize in the first half, but John McGinn's effort was misfired. In the second half, he made a request for a penalty, but it was not awarded. Behind the scenes, Morocco's Yassin Bouno is not focused on Scotland. But Scotland didn't waste much time on dangerous footwork. Already, they will move towards history in the next group final against Brazil.
