The 31-year-old said that he is always ready for new challenges. "I always have the energy for one more try. I will never give up," Kimmich told Bayern & Germany. At the World Cup, Germany lost for the first time in a reverse international competition after Paraguay (1:1, 3:4 reverse). Kimmich, who plays for "Bavaria" in Munich, played all 120 minutes in the tournament and captained the German team. The 31-year-old midfielder has made 114 appearances for Germany and will captain the national team from 2024.
