Marginios: Waterfall for Japan has 'some arrogance'
Marquinhos has responded to the comments of Japan's Kendo Shiokai, the captain of the Brazil team, which gives Brazil an extra boost.

Brazil defender Marquinhos looked at the words of Japan forward Kendo Shiokai and commented on the improvement of the Japanese team. Marquinhos criticized Shiokai for saying that Brazil were 'not what they used to be' and said that the Brazilian team will be more motivated against this.
"These words were definitely spoken in our team. This gives us more motivation. It is good for us that they speak; we work for a month with humility. We will leave the speech to the enemy," he said.

Marquinhos, however, has already noted the contrast between the teams at the current World Cup, but Japan's comments reflect their confidence. "The defense is very balanced, but there may be some arrogance in their words. Brazil is a big country in the world of football. We have to show our skills inside," he said.
And Ancelotti will be hoping for a similar build-up to his side's close win over Scotland on Friday. He has not officially confirmed his team's composition, but changes are not expected. Raphinha is only out of the squad due to injury.
Brazil and Japan battle it out for a place in the last eight of the World Cup on July 19 at NRG Stadium in Houston.
