90+13 min Croatia goal disallowed: In-ball sensor proves offside

FIFA World Cup 2026, Portugal's 90+13 minute goal against Croatia in the 1/16 round was disallowed after a VAR review. Mario Basalic was ruled offside in the phase before Yoshko Guardiola netted.
Touch data recorded by an in-ball sensor proved that Basalis was offside when the pass arrived. From that point on, Guardiol converted Basalic's pass into a goal. The referee confirmed the offside decision after reviewing the VAR screen and disallowed the goal.
