Switzerland hold a 1–0 half-time lead against Algeria in their round of 16 (round of 32) match of the FIFA World Cup 2026 knockout stage. The match will be played at 'B-C Place' in Vancouver, Canada.
This Al-wajahah will be refereed by a team led by Yael Falcon Perez from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Brielle Mbolo scored the only goal of the match in the 11th minute to give Switzerland the lead.
In the group stage, Switzerland topped Group 'B' and qualified directly for the knockout stage. Algeria advanced to the round of 16 from third place in Group 'J'.
The 2026 World Cup will be held from June 11 to July 19 in Canada, the United States and Mexico. The current champions are Argentina.
