Portugal beat Nigeria 2-1 in an amistoso match in Leiria. Neto and Francisco Conceiçao scored for Portugal, with Adams scoring Nigeria's only goal. Francisco Conceiçao scored the winner at the end of the match. Other "Italians" players Maduka Okoye and Dele-Bashiru played at the start. Okoye, Udinese's striker, played 90 minutes, Dele-Bashiru, Lazio's centre, played 60 minutes. Bordal are in Group K of the World Cup, where they will face Republic of Congo on 17 June. On the 23rd, they will face Fabio Cannavaro's reigning Uzbekistan and on the 28th they will face Colombia.
