Arsenal have confirmed the £19m transfer of Jakub Quivier to FC Porto. Porto, two months later, made an official announcement based on this information.
Arsenal have officially announced the transfer of Jakub Quivier to FC Porto. This has now been officially confirmed, while Porto had announced this information two months ago.
In early May, FC Porto announced that they had exercised their desire to sign Kivier, but Arsenal have yet to officially confirm this.
Arsenal signed Kivier in 2023 for €20 million. Porto have agreed a €17 million fixed fee and a further €5 million in add-ons in the transfer.
Porto have reportedly included a €70 million buyout clause in Chivier's contract, but expectations of its implementation are slim.
Quivier made 68 appearances for Arsenal over two years before making 39 appearances for Porto in the 2025/26 season.
Arsenal have a clause in the contract that allows them to get an extra €2 million when they sell Kivier.
