World Cup 2026 Group I Round 3 Senegal-Iraq match will be played at Toronto's BMO Field. Senegal took the lead in the 4th minute through Abdoulaye Cheque. Iraq continue with 10 men as Iraqi player Repin Sulaga receives a red card in the 13th minute. The score is now 1–0.

Senegal vs Iraq in FIFA World Cup 2026 Group I 3rd round match at BMO Field in Toronto, Canada. The competition will be overseen by English referee Anthony Taylor.

Senegal defender Abdoulaye Cheke opened the scoring four minutes into the match. This gave Senegal an early 1–0 lead.

The turning point came in the 13th minute. Iraq were forced to continue with 10 players as Iraq's Repin Sulaga received a straight red card.

As per the group standings (before the start of the tournament), Iraq were fourth in Group I with no points from two matches. Senegal are third without points. France finished top with six points.

World Cup 2026 will be held from June 11 to July 19 in USA, Canada and Mexico. reigning world champions Argentina; 2022 Qatar won the trophy by beating France 3–3 (4–2 on penalties) in the final.
