Milla Como, leaving apartment for Getafe: "I will not forget my last time"
Luis Milla has been announced as Como's new signing after four years at Getafe and has expressed his gratitude for his time there.
Luis Milla (31) has been announced as Como's new signing this morning, having been bought on a permanent basis from Getafe for around €6m. After signing with Como, the 1994-born midfielder left for Getafe and took to social media to express his gratitude. "It's not always easy to leave a place, I was very happy there. Thank you to Getafe for these four years. Thank you to this team, to Jose Bordalas (former coach) and his technical team, to my team and to everyone who makes this team the best. Also, to the fans: you always made me feel at home. I'm leaving with a whole heart, proud of everything that happened with us and memories that I will always remember. Together we made history. Brecho, Geta!"
In the video, Milla announced his departure to all the people of Getafe, saying, "Hello Azulones and Azulonas, today I have to leave, but I'm here to do it with a joke. Getafe has been my home for these four years. Thanks to the team and the staff, without them our achievements would not have been achieved. And, for the team, our structure says a lot: we are a family, in Getafe. I always thought that the strength of a team is in the team, and the last few years proved it to me. A physical room where I grew as a player and as a person. I leave. Thanks for the love you gave me. I'll always remember the last match at the Coliseum. We've had some difficult moments, thank you for everything, Getafe!"
