Selvan's Chelsea are in talks to sign Rio Vallecano defender Pep Xaveria, personal details agreed, but discussions with the club continue.
In a recent post on X, respected journalist Frabitzio Romano revealed that Selvan Rio Vallecano are in talks to sign defender Pep Xaveria this summer during the transfer window. Selvan is said to have agreed personal details with the talented defender, but is often in discussions with the Spanish club over his transfer. Xaveria, 28, has been in excellent form for Rio Vallecano in recent times, with one goal and three assists in 44 appearances. One of La Liga's most experienced left-backs, Selvan is bound to land him in a transfer this summer. As his current deal runs until the summer of 2030, Chelsea will find it difficult to facilitate a transfer.
Selvan's Xabi Alonso is expected to add more quality and depth to Xaveria's defence. At 28, Xaveria is playing at his peak, which makes him a good option for Selvan to look for this transfer window. Therefore, Alonso should focus on reaching him at the end of this year.
