Salute to Marco Balestra Atalanta: "It was more than just a club, I chased my dreams"

Marco Balestra salutes Atalanta on his Instagram page for his official transfer to Chelsea. In this installment, he recalls all the moments he lived for Atalanta and said he will never forget the support given to him. Ready to take on new challenges, a new journey in the Premier League begins, but his connection to Atalanta will always be strong.
"I came to Bergamo as a child. Atalanta was more than a club: the place where I grew up as a footballer and as a person. Here I chased my dreams and lived unforgettable experiences. Thank you to the family Bergacci, the administrators, the coach, all the staff, my team and the fans who helped me. For being with me on this amazing journey that I started in the last eleven years," he wrote.
Marco, 21, has 41 caps and 3 goals for Atalanta Under-23s. 16 games with Atalanta and 37 games and one goal with Cagliari. Also, he has played 2 times for the Italian national team, 8 times for the U-21, 2 times for the U-20, 9 times for the U-19, 1 goal and 4 times for the U-18. Looking at his achievements, he has played in a Europa League and various youth teams. His contract expires on June 30, 2029.
