Brazil came from behind to beat Japan 2-1 to advance to the Round of 16 of the World Cup. Casemiro and Gabriel Martinelli were instrumental in this victory.
Brazil beat Japan 2-1 to advance to the Round of 16 of the World Cup. The key goal in this win came in the 50th minute. Brazil initially trailed 1–0, but won through Casemiro (from Douglas Santos' pass) and Gabriel Martinelli (Bruno Guimarães' assist).
Brazil's next opponent will be the winner of the match between Ivory Coast and Norway — in Dallas on Tuesday (30) at 2 p.m. Especially for Brazil fans, the Round of 16 match will be played on Sunday (5) at 5pm.

Brazil scored 8 balls in the first half, but mostly controlled long runs and didn't create much danger. Bruno Guimarães miscues one of the best chances, Matheus Cunha is immediately blocked by the keeper.
Japan, with a strong performance, took a 1-0 lead through Kaishu Sano in the 28th minute. Lucas Paquetá was injured in the first half and Endrick suddenly came on.
Brazil was under a lot of pressure. In the 11th minute, Casemiro scored the equalizer after receiving a pass from Douglas Santos: 1-1. Brazil scored in the 50th minute when Gabriel Martinelli received a pass from Bruno Guimarães: 2-1.
Brazil have proved themselves at the World Cup by advancing to the Round of 16.
