Yannis Coffey to Carrarese from PSG academy: contract until 30 June 2030
Yannis Coffey, a key midfielder for the Moroccan U18 selection, has signed a deal with the Carrarese until 2030, with a French passport who played four seasons in PSG's youth team.
Italian Serie B side Carrarese have signed young midfielder Yannis Coffey from the PSG academy. According to a club announcement, the 2006-born French passport-holding talent will join the team until June 30, 2030.
A regular in the Morocco U18 team, Coffey has also earned multiple call-ups for his country's U21 side. He epitomizes all the attributes of a contemporary midfielder: link work in the middle of the pitch, blocking, movement, discipline and a regular role in the structural phase of sharing the ball.
Coffey made a total of 45 appearances in the last four seasons with the PSG youth teams. Most of it was for the U19 team. Made 14 appearances in the youth league and made his debut for Paris U23s.
After the contract signing, Yannis Coffey said: "I am very happy to sign for this club. I am proud to be part of a team that plays in Serie B and has done well for the last two seasons.
