Burnley forward Zeki Amdouni scored as Switzerland advanced to the knockout phase of the World Cup with a 2-1 win over Canada in Vancouver. Amdouni, 25, has made just one appearance so far, a 1-1 draw in Qatar's second Group B match as a 79th-minute substitute. And with a 4-1 win over Bosnia-Herzegovina, a win over Canada saw Switzerland finish as group winners. Amdouni, who has 30 senior saves and 11 goals, is currently in Vancouver to face the third-placed team in a group at the World Cup in the round of 32.
