Besiktas drew 0–0 against Hungarian club Mozonmazar in their second pre-season friendly. After defeating Kiirmot in the first test, there were no goals this time. Beşiktaş coach Vincenzo Italiano described his team's position in the post-match press conference.
"It's not an easy match. We've worked hard in the last eight days; the players are tired," noted former Bologna coach Italiano. "At the same time, the young players are with the team. Compared to the first match, we were quicker with the ball today; the pressing was firmer. We executed our game plans more clearly."
He continued, "However, we need to be more 'hungry', ferocious and imaginative in front of goal. It is important to finish the opportunities that arise well," emphasizing the angle to improve the players' determination and creativity.
